Ohhh, I do love these, Andrea! They really do transport you to the summer days of ….ahhhmmm, several years ago!
Love the colors and compostion a lot!
Thank you Kim, I really can still smell this scent of childhood summer as well as feel the way I felt then:)
fun to see such bright color in your paintings here. Happy Summer!!!
Hi Lynn, thank you for your comment, yes I had so much fun using this strong color, and keep using it right now, it’s just a summer mood!
the paintings seem hazy and dreamlike, as if i were in a hammock in the cool shade seeing Monet’s garden before my eyes. wonderful evocation of summer. suki
not only Paris has weird weather these days……its all around.
I find it normal the sky is crying these days but today we had sunshine, butterflies like that. Hope you soon get the smell of green gras and roses in your nose.
Your summersketches are soothing to my eyes.

Hello Martinchen, I just came back from a week in Germany, where I spent many hours in the garden, soothing my eyes too! Now I’m back in the city, but it’s calm right now, as most Parisians take their vacation in August. A nice time to roam!
