One day it’s the big city and windowshopping, the next day it’s a walk by the river Marne. When I go home from my dayjob in the early evening, I often take “the long way” home. I get off the train later, and walk alongside the river.
There is this old barge, rusting away but still beautiful. I think the barge serves as a kitchen to a little restaurant. They serve “tajines“. A metal bridge connects restaurant and ship. I stood and sketched, and when I was almost done, raindrops began to fall on the page:)

Oh Wow! This would be great to have this place to go eat and paint! This is really a lovely spot and you get to enjoy it via a walk home each day! How beautiful is that? These sketches are truly awesome! I love them so much! I also love you are teaching a bit of French along the way of this exciting adventure of Paris and it’s environs. “Tres Bon!”
I love the angle you took on the barge and the tree. and the photos. what a beautiful spot! and I agree with kin, thanks for the french lesson! gosh, I feel like I was really there. suki
