A yard sale in Paris seems so unbelievable for some reason to me. It makes me smile. I would want to scoop it all up and bring it home. Love the emptying the attic meaning of the words.
Did you buy anything or just sit there and draw?

I hope your Christmas was full of joy and good times and things. Did you get lots of lovely gifts from your loved ones? I wonder what?

yard sales: always a mix of excitement and hope of making a discovery, and sadness at seeing once loved things discarded.

Kind of sad isnt it. What was once loved no longer loved to be put on a corner for a cheap price. Wonderful painting. It really says alot to me.

A most happy Christmas to you, dear Andrea! Thank you for this painting. What a gift. I have friends with which I exchange presents but only if we find them in a yard sale of thrift store… oh the treasures they often yield.

I would have gone for the owl and of course, the bust of the Native American. Hope that you are enjoying a jolly holiday!
