Need a new pair, girls? – Besoin d’une nouvelle paire, les filles?

I must say that I LOVE shoes, even those I cannot walk in, they are such beautiful objects….: This composition in Watercolor took me quite a long time. First I made the ink drawings of the shoes which took me several days given that I have to work on other things too. I must say this is a great drawing exercise. Then I let it sit for a few days before beginning to put the color on. Actually the shoes I chose did not have the colors I gave them here, I just improvised, going with the flow, putting on layers of color, letting dry, again put color on etc. and always having an eye on the composition. Choose your favourite:

Ohhh Boy! I adore shoes, too, so this is right for me! I love th composition and the way they all seem to be walking! My favorite? I don’t know…how to choose? I personally don’t wear heels, but I love the way they look! I adore boots and sandals, but not usually things in the middle. I think I really love the blue boots with the lower heel on the left. Of course the sage green boot with the bling is pretty wonderful, too (although I couldn’t wear it). Then again, who can resist a red, low boot? Oh, I love them all! OH WOW ANDREA THIS IS A FANTASTIC WORK OF ART!!! I love the looks of heels and wear a short one now and then, but I cant handle them really high anymore. I LOVE the pinkish tan high heeled boot with the studs on them. Not to wear but in looks. Love it.
