I promised more pictures of the Iron Lady. When we went there a couple of weeks ago, my little friend and I, we had wonderful weather, much wind, (you can see me clutching her little hand cause I was afraid of her being blown away by this wind:) and a lot of fun. I now have posted pictures and descriptions in Flickr, if you’d like to see them, just go in the left sidebar and click on the Flickr Photo excerpt there and enjoy the visit:)
THE VISIT OF THE EIFFELTOWER

This is so wonderful. It looks like you and your friend had a great time…I just love the expressions on her little face! I love being in that area of Paris as it is just so beautiful and the Eiffel is so imposing and comforting at the same time. It is truly awe inspiring.
Thank you for sharing this lovely adventure and your special little friend with us!
PS I can’t wait to play at your flickr site, too!
H kim, that is a good way of describing the feeling one gets when visiting the Eiffeltower. It is imposing and comforting at the same time, perhaps because of it’s elegant shape and the open structures, which look filigrane from far!
Oh my, you both look as though the wind will take you away….have any red balloons handy?
Patricia, what a great idea, I think if they did put red ballons for the people up there to let them fly away, then the Sky over Paris would be full of red balloons any day of the year, I like that idea!

Oh how scary going way up there. This is the only way I would visit it..in photos. lol. Who took the photo? Great keepsake photo for your little friends memory book.
Hi Cris, there were 5 young girls up there visiting, so I asked them to take a photo of us two, and they I took one of them:)
Sorry I meant “then”. The girl’s mom also took a photo of us two when we met at the Metrostation but I didn’t put that in here.
Cris, I think you would go up there two, once you have reached the 2nd level, you can take the elevator up. At first the little girl didn’t want to go but when we reached the 2nd level, she said that she wanted to go! So brave:)…the elevator was a bit scary, cause the doors are made of glass and so you see the things go littler and littler:)
Afraid not Andrea. I cant even go up on a ladder. I FREEZE like a Zombie when I see anything far below me.
Oh, but if I would hold your hand? (LOL)
No, I understand that, then there’s nothing to do, but I’m glad that I can make you visit via these pictures, have a wonderful day!
it’s been years sinds i was there, and it was just great looking down:-)
have a lovely day
